A remote mountaintop resort in Thailand’s North East saw the first assembly of a scattered group of expatriate wargamers this month. Planned for over a year, the only absentees were one member currently in Italy, and another in the USA. Six of us made it for the inaugural meeting, and top of the agenda was […]

Right now further details are sketchy and I’ve not been able to find any information on the internet. […]

Bordegarde “Trees don’t bark back” Warfare is one of my personal favourite shows of the year, and you can view this report in light of that. Apart from the fact that it is relatively close to me (a couple of hours easy drive ), I have built up a comfortable routine for the weekend that […]

It’s strange the things people will collect, and stranger still the money they’ll pay for it.
Diary and Scrapbook of an Infantryman in Europe.1917 – 1919 by Private James Allen, is currently on offer on book sales site AbeBooks. The asking price is a staggering US $6,328 for the 8.25″ x 5″ x 1.25″ black buckram covered c.25-page diary.

Bumbling around on the Internet, I came across a US military memorabilia site called Outpost Flags.
They do a lot more than just flags, though they have a huge range of those, which are perfect for decorating the games room.
One of the ranges that caught my eye was their WW2 German miniatures.
