This model has a walled, half-width yard and external stairway to the flat roof, and a tile-roofed, “lean-to” extension at one end. The flat roof is modelled as planked, but can easily be converted to smooth adobe, or paved, using thin card.
The models have been designed for modellers to use their imagination, and modify to create variety.
Example projects could be to add - Awnings, fenced or walled rear yards, a balsa "lean-to" shelter on the un-windowed side walls, and many other personalised modifications that allow a row of them to appear different to each other, creating variation in any village on the table top.
