GS15 15mm Ancients / Medieval / Tudor Thatched House.
This model represents a generic, half-timbered, thatched "Peasant's House" with roof-apex smoke hole instead of a chimney. It has windows on all sides and doors to he front and rear long sides. The building is set on a few courses of stone foundations, and the spaces between the timbers represents plaster rendering. Windows can be painted glazed or unglazed.
For Ancients, this models fits well with classical Empires (Greeks, Romans etc), and works into the Dark Ages for North West European villages and towns.
For Jacobite through to 20th Century scenarios, it makes an excellent general purpose rural house.
For Age of Exploration / Pirate scenarios, use it for out-of-town housing & farms.
For British Colonial theatres, use it as a poor-man's farm bungalow, or harbour-side cottage.
It will also fit well with AWI & Wolfe in Quebec, plus WW2 Eastern Front, and more modern central Asian theatres.

The model has been designed for modelers to use their imagination, and modify to create variety.
Example projects could be, to add -
* Provide the model with a walled base and "garden"
* Add fenced animal yards
* Create a matching barn or animal shed (on our drawing board)
and many other personalised modifications that would allow several of these to appear different to each other, creating variation within a village on the table top.
Use this model side-by-side with the sheds and stables from the FRB range for Classical Empires and early European nations.
We need photos of based, painted, and / or customised GS15's,
