WIL01 15mm DBA camp-area on Rocky / Shrubbed Hillock.

The Wilderness series are "table edge" encampments for DBA, DBM, DBR, & HOTT rules.

Wilderness 01 represents mixed rocks and shrubs around a low hill.
Wilderness 02 represents a ruined or overgrown building with round tower on the same terrain
Wilderness 03 represents the lower ruins of a tower base with outer wall.

Because Wilderness 01 has no "man-made" features, it works well with all scales from 6mm to 25mm, and the ruins on Wilderness 02 & 03 scale well with figures from 12mm - 18mm, although they were designed as 15mm pieces.

Placing 2 x Wilderness 01 back-to-back (as per photo below) gives a "table centre" oval shaped hill with a ring of outcrops making it ideal for HOTT armies with druidic units. Wilderness 01 & 02 can be used together in this manner. They can also be used with rule sets other than those above, as an additional terrain piece.
Please note when using them in this manner, some filing and filling will be required for a smooth joint.

In keeping with the original concept for DBA DBM DBR HOTT encampments, it is designed to be representational, rather than fully modelled true to scale.

The rock / shrub outcrops can be painted as either style by changing paint colours
  Greens = foliage
  Greys = granite rocks
  Browns & creams = sandstone rocks
making this a very versatile model.
